At Membrics (“we”), we take the protection of your personal information seriously. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.
Information we collect
- Account information: name, email, organization.
- Data you and your members enter into the platform.
- Payment data processed by Stripe — we do not store card numbers.
- Usage data and technical logs.
How we use it
To provide and improve the service, process payments, communicate with you, and keep the platform secure.
Cookies and analytics
On our marketing site we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors navigate it: which pages they view, where traffic comes from, and which forms they complete. This technology sets cookies and analyses your browsing behaviour.
Analytics is optional and off by default. It is enabled only if you explicitly consent through the banner shown on your first visit. No data is sent to Google before you consent.
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page. Cookies strictly necessary for the site to function do not require consent.
Sharing
We do not sell your data. We share it only with the subprocessors needed to run the service, bound by confidentiality obligations:
- Stripe — payment processing
- Amazon Web Services (Canada) — hosting and storage
- Google Analytics — marketing-site analytics, with your consent
- Sentry — error logging and diagnostics (data hosted in the United States)
- Mixpanel — platform usage analytics
Some of these providers process information outside Quebec, including in the United States. For any questions about these transfers, get in touch.
Retention
We keep your data while your account is active, then per applicable legal retention periods.
Your rights (Quebec Law 25)
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise these rights,get in touch.
Security
We use encryption in transit and at rest, along with access controls, to protect your data.
